Many people want to know what football players eat to stay fit and healthy. All of that fancy & posh tableware they have in their kitchen never actually comes in use or do they, I am sure from the money they earn they can afford to have a butler to do their cooking? They do earn a lot of money. Having saying that there are few footballers who can cook for themselves and love doing so but what do the others do who cannot cook?
Every football players eat healthy food there is no doubt about it. After a heavy workout in the field their body will need refuelling. Al parts of body will require food after hard football training. A combination of fats, vitamins, minerals and proteins will heal micro tears from exercise.
Most football players eat seafood and drink protein shakes after heavy workout at the gym or after football training. Seafood like tuna and salmon provide protein to the body that repairs bones, tendons and ligaments. The muscles need rebuilding after a run which is helped by seafood. In regards to the meat, white meat provides more protein for the body than the red meat.
Nutritionists also advise football players to eat some carbohydrates as just protein is not good for the body. Body also requires carbohydrates and some fat. Not a lot is required roasted peanuts have some fat, you can eat them in the afternoon everyday to consume some fat.
To be perfectly honest footballers can afford to eat out every day and they can choose healthy diet and don’t have to worry about cooking it. Most of them have it all planned what to eat during morning, afternoon and evening. Footballers like Zinedine Zidance, Robbie Fowler and David Beckham love cooking for themselves. These three have massive kitchen in their home and all sorts of kitchen accessories required for cooking.
Football players are not allowed to drink too much beer so they probably don’t have beer glasses at their homes.
